We are ramping up our production and have ambitious delivery plans for the future. We are looking for a fast paced, results focused, pro-active Senior Buyer to join our Direct Materials Procurement team.

What youll do at ESS.

  • Action MRP and Purchase Requisition signals.
  • Ensure on time supply to the production line.
  • Hold supply base accountable to commitments.
  • Cost down activities.
  • Alert management of concerns or issues within your assigned suppliers.
  • Work with Engineering and Scheduling/Planning to order new revision parts in a timely manner.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to resolve issues with finance and/or quality.

What you bring to the table.

Minimum requirements:

  • Two (2) to Four (4) years of Purchasing/Procurement experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with Direct Inventory and MRO.
  • MRP/ERP experience.
  • Excel proficiency.
  • Excellent negotiation skills.

Wed love to see:

  • Bachelors or Associate degree.
  • Capital equipment procurement experience.
  • Six Sigma certifications and/or training.
  • APICS or related purchasing industry certifications.
