Senior Account Manager

Location: US East Coast

Place of Work: Home Office

Senior Account Manager will develop deep, strategic relationships with customers to drive growth of dsm-firmenich business. The position will handle the full product portfolio and work within savory, sweet, beverages and bakery. Your key responsibilities

  • Promote the dsm-firmenich portfolio of flavors, maskers, functional ingredients, complete delivery solutions and dairy concentrates
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business plan objectives, maximize sales opportunities and develop territory/account plans
  • Provide clients with general and specific information regarding product concepts, submission documents, and presentations
  • Implement commercial strategies with other key internal partners including dsm-firmenich Food Service and Ingredients
  • Find opportunities for new business

This position can be in a home office on the East Coast of the US. 50% travel in US (East coast) required. Individual pay offered will be based on the applicants job-related skills, experience, relevant education and training. This position is also eligible for bonuses and benefits, which are not included in the pay scale provided. Salary $137,500-$171,800

You bring

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in Flavor sales within B2B environment required
  • Highly Motivated, driven, and proven track record of success as a hunter
  • Applications / Technical experience within the Savory space is a plus
  • Self-Driven and a Team Player that can work well in a collaborative environment
  • Innovative selling styles through strong consultative approach and creative drive to find solutions
  • Bachelors degree required, with preference for a degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or other related discipline
