Job Description

Overview

We are looking for an individual that will be responsible and accountable for all distribution operations (including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, auditing and loading operations), inventory operations (control, quality and reverse logistics) and facilities/maintenance operations within all distribution/warehouse centers.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for setting the culture (lean management, customer -> company -> team -> I, safety first, fail forward and always improving)
  • Drive inventory productivity and excellent inventory control/quality for all company inventory (including inventory stored at our 3PL partners and storage locations).
  • Actively participate in the day to day operations of the region (planning, driving flow, interacting with teams, and real time coaching and developing).
  • Actively slot and maintain the proper inventory layout that supports proper order flow and improves quality, productivity and safety..
  • Lead the region in environmental, health and safety (EH&S) along with all security and compliance policies and laws. Timely reporting of all work-related injuries and provide medical attention to injured employees as necessary.
  • Serve as the region leader in Lean Management and process improvement.
  • Oversee region profit and loss (P&L) and active forecast (thorough understanding of drivers) and drive improvements through process changes/improvements.
  • Maintain non-inventory supply levels (shipping supplies, including custom design pallets).
  • Maintain and improve the cross training program while ensuring that the region meets their current key performance indicators (quality, safety, cost, service and accuracy, delivery, etc.).
  • Maintain and improve the current Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent
  • Minimum of 8 years equivalent warehouse management experience required.
  • Minimum of 12 years of warehouse experience
  • A comprehensive knowledge of proper regional operations is required (flow, WMS, slotting, inventory management, etc.).
  • A working knowledge of warehouse and transportation management systems is a must.
  • A broad range of management skills are required (leadership, coaching, developing, planning, lean/six sigma, process improvement, communication (oral and written), change management).
  • Must have a professional presence and properly communicate within the organization (across business units, etc.).
  • Excellent team player and strong sense of personal commitment and drive to the business and its customers.
  • Strong emotional IQ (ability to communicate and effectively interact with all levels of people) is required.
  • Environmental Health & Safety lead for region

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $104,539.00 – $130,647.00 per year

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed
