POSITION OVERVIEW
The Greenfield Coordinator within 174 Power Global will support the site origination and early-stage development activities for commercial solar, battery energy generation facilities and emerging technologies. The Coordinator will be engaged in all aspects of site origination and early-stage development including but not limited to: site identification, land acquisition, due diligence review, grid interconnection, environmental fatal flaw analysis, and all aspects of making a prospect into a successful project. This position will work closely with the functional teams when completing these reviews.
174PG is headquartered in Irvine, CA, however, the Coordinator may have the opportunity to work remotely. Up to 20% travel to regions across North America to conduct site visits to new siting efforts.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate with internal teams in support of initial siting and site control efforts
- Support administrative functions such as PO management and coordination with accounting to ensure vendor and landowner payments are made
- Assist in securing site control
- Assist in creating detailed reports and presentations
- Assist with preparation of form letters, documents, and mailings
- Assist with landowner engagement including making cold calls, follow up calls, emails and visiting landowners in conjunction with land agents
- Assist with greenfield budget tracking and management
- Attend and contribute to Team meetings
- Assist with management and maintenance of landowner communication log, landowner database, and prospect site database
- Assist with management of site control documents
- Assist with site control agreement document preparation in conjunction with the legal team
- Assist with document recording
- Conduct land, regulatory, and related project research in conjunction with Permitting team
- Work with internal teams and perform additional duties to assist in project development and land acquisition as required
- Organize and attend site visits and landowner meetings
- Coordinate application preparation and submittals of interconnection agreements in conjunction with the interconnection team
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelors degree with 5 years of professional experience
- Project coordination or project management experience required
- Experience in utility-scale renewable project development industry helpful
- Land records / real estate/ title experience helpful
- Must be able to troubleshoot problems and find solutions independently. Critical thinking and creative ingenuity are essential.
