Job Description


We are looking for someone with a purchasing and facilities background for a Procurement, Stores, Facilities & Fleet Supervisor permanent position working in Guernsey. Salary of £35k per annum plus overtime, bonus, 25 days holidays + stats, pension, BUPA and benefits.

Working as the successful Procurement, Stores, Facilities & Fleet Supervisor, you will be managing suppliers and supporting the business with getting best value on purchasing goods and services. You will be working with facilities maintenance suppliers to ensure buildings are maintained, the purchasing of new vehicles, training colleagues, conducting performance appraisals and assisting in department budget preparation.

You will help procure goods and services at the best value and will ensure that the offices, operational locations and vehicles are at an appropriate standard to enable the company to operate at their best.

Responsibilities

  • Required to uphold the Group Procurement Policy at all time
  • Be responsible for the strategic and high value procurement of goods as necessary across all departments within the guidelines of the Group Procurement Policy
  • Identify and manage all supplier relationships for Guernsey and conduct regular meetings with suppliers to ensure all SLAs are upheld
  • Ensure all procurement reporting is done and up to date
  • Manage all travel arrangements for staff in Guernsey as needed and travel is aligned to the Group Travel and Expenses Policy
  • Check and approve travel invoices for Guernsey
  • Manage and control all supplier budgets within the wider Cost Reduction Program to ensure cost saving initiatives are exercised
  • Control the general warehouse operation, layout, and stock control for Guernsey. This includes all engineering and network operations stock as well as retail showroom stock
  • Be responsible for the management, direction and mentoring of the Warehouse Operative in Guernsey
  • Develop, manage, and control the stores budgeting, with monthly reporting against stores performance
  • Be responsible for upholding the Group Vehicle Policy, which includes purchasing of new vehicles when required, appointing service agents and maintenance
  • Be responsible for changes to facilities provider and on a day-to-day basis manage the provider
  • Support lease negotiations, rent reviews and renewals in conjunction with Head of Procurement and internal legal
  • Support the business in planning, designing and implementation of minor building changes including any office layout requirements
  • Directly accountable for minor alterations and facilities in Guernsey
  • Conduct all sublet reviews and support the business in this activity
  • Ensure all reporting as required by the business is up to date and accurate

Minimum Requirements
