To support its expanding portfolio, Jupiter Power seeks to hire a highly motivated and experienced professional as its Senior Manager/Director, ISO Regulatory Policy, to report to the Senior Director of Regulatory, External Affairs & ESG. This role is a key contributor to the external affairs team and leads the company’s response to developments within FERC-jurisdictional regional regulatory markets, specifically including RTO/ISO rule changes impacting the interconnection process for Jupiter’s development pipeline as well rule changes influencing market conditions for operating battery storage projects. The position will serve as Jupiter’s primary liaison to ISO/RTO stakeholder processes, staff and Boards.
The successful candidate will also support Jupiter’s representation at state regulatory commissions, and support Jupiter’s formulation of positions and advocacy in state legislative and regulatory venues to contribute to battery energy storage new market expansion. The successful candidate will be a key contributor to internal discussions regarding commercial strategies for participation in both vertically integrated and deregulated markets, and support other functions within the organization, including project development, origination, risk management, and interconnection/engineering teams.

Compensation and benefits offered will be commensurate with the experience and qualifications of the candidate. The role has remote work capabilities dependent on ISO of experience and candidate’s current location, but requires travel to Jupiter offices in Austin, TX, Houston, TX or Chicago, IL.
