Location: Austin, Texas (Metro Area)

Reports to: Regional Canvassing Manager

The Appointment Setter Position

Sunnova Energy is searching for Full Time and Part Time entry to mid-level commission driven marketing specialists that have a winning attitude. Our Appointment Setters utilize their strong communication skills to inform, educate and advise new potential Sunnova Solar customers about the benefits of adding solar as an investment to their everyday life.

Appointment Setter Responsibilities

  • Qualifying prospects for Solar+
  • Generate demand and set appointments in solar sales
  • Retaining new acquisition
  • Maintaining team daily productivity
  • Meeting & exceeding sales metrics

Minimum Requirements

  • Canvassing, Customer Service, or Sales Experience: 1 Year +
  • Valid State-issued Driver’s License
  • Must have access to reliable transportation
  • Ability to access and use a smart phone / tablet and access Wi-Fi spots.
  • Pass background and drug screening

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in residential solar or lead generation
  • Door-to-door experience
  • Cold calling experience
  • Regional canvassing experience
  • Self-motivated and independent player
  • Highschool Diploma/GED

Additional Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

  • Accurate data entry
  • Ability to go door-to-door to educate prospective new solar homeowners.
  • Great in-person and over-the-phone sales conversation skills.

Working Conditions

  • Open-office environment and/or remote-office environment
  • 90% regional travel in Austin Metro Area
  • Driving required: Valid driver’s license with clean motor vehicle record

Physical Requirements

  • Extended periods of time spent outdoors and walking around.
