Job Description

Ocean Winds Summer Internship – Offshore Wind Ocean Winds (a 50:50 offshore wind joint-venture, owned and created by EDPR and ENGIE) has a presence in 10 countries and is dedicated to transforming offshore wind by creating new growth opportunities, as well as developing current projects, such as: OW’s flagship project in the United States is SouthCoast Wind, a joint venture with Shell. SouthCoast Wind has the potential to generate up to 2GW of clean energy, or enough to power nearly 800,000 homes. Awarded during the New York Bight auction process in 2022, Bluepoint Wind is an offshore wind project in the early stages of development located off the coast of New Jersey and New York. In partnership with GIP, our goal is to responsibly develop this 1,700 MW project and to collaborate with regional stakeholders through long-term partnerships that benefit local communities, ecosystems and economies. Golden State Wind is OW’s newest project in the United States, awarded during the first California lease auction in December 2022. The project is a joint venture with the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPP Investments) and will be located in the Morro Bay area off the central coast of California. When fully operational, the lease area could accommodate approximately 2 GW of offshore wind energy, generating enough energy to power the equivalent of about 900,000 homes.   • On track for strong academic attainment in your Bachelor’s Degree (a variety of subjects welcome; Engineering, Legal, Geography, Environmental Sciences etc.).
  • Solid communication skills, enthusiastic with a can-do attitude.
  • Problem solving capabilities.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Passionate about the Renewable Energy sector. Details:

  • Boston office (hybrid)
