JOURNEYMAN SOLAR ELECTRICIAN – Solar Traveler

WE’RE HIRING ELECTRICIANS! PeopleReady Skilled Trades is currently hiring experienced Journeyman Solar Electricians for our projects across the US. Temp to Perm position for one of the leading utility scale solar companies in the nation * Experience in Solar: Power Racks, MET stations, and communication cables (run conduit/PVC, someone who has commercial electrical experience would be our best bet * Experience with voltage of 120-220MV * Will be hired on directly with SOLV and must be willing to travel to different projects across the country. * Will require to get Licensed in the state they go to. Our custopmer will pay for all licensing fees once hired. * Those inquiring should understand this is a traveling position for new solar construction. * Above/Below Ground solar wiring, modules, and terminators. * Knowledge of solar materials, including modules, inverters, and monitoring systems. Proficiency in electrical and switch gear wiring. * Terminate Combiner Boxes * Panel/LV work * Layout, bend, thread and install conduit * Trench with shovel and install PVC raceway * Pull and terminate aluminum direct bury wire * Connect and support DC Wire * Install elecrical enclosures * Supervise the work of apprentices * Perform electrical testing and commissiong * Comprehend / adhere to company policy safe work practices 18 years of age with a valid ID. Have tools of the trade and be able to bring them to job with you. References to verify your professional skills and experience . A resume ready to submit upon request. Able to lift up to 50+ lbs and remain in a stationary position for extended periods. Reliable and able to work the assigned shift. Safety must always be your FIRST priority. Able to pass additional screens when applicable. Additional electricians tools will be provided by the customer – Steel Toed Boots and Hot/Cold Weather Gear are your requirement.
