Job Description Summary GE Research is GE’s innovation powerhouse where research meets reality. The purpose of the Technology Incubation Group is to drive growth by developing a system that results in the intelligent identification of “early investigation” projects to accelerate their game-changing platform potential. As the opportunities are identified, the organization will be responsible for architecting and connecting to external funding partners essential to advancing these programs in high value markets ($1B+). The Technology Incubation Group is new to GE Research and operates like a startup within GE; thus this position represents an exciting opportunity to shape the future trajectory of commercialization.
The Director of Investor Partnerships will be responsible for negotiating external investor deals and working across GE to create new business partnerships in the domains of decarbonization, electrification, and accelerating renewables.
Job Description
Essential Responsibilities
- Negotiate new deals with simultaneous value for GE Vernova Advanced Research and for GE Vernova
- Creatively construct new business models to solve for multiple stakeholder requirements
- Actively engage investors of various types (VCs, strategics, family offices, others)
- Work across GE to ensure timely deal execution
Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 6 years of professional experience
- Significant experience negotiating complex, multi-stakeholder deals
- E xpertise in working with and negotiating with investors
- Ability to create financial models and valuations detailing transactions
- Exposed to and well versed in technology concepts
- Experience successfully raising funds for early-stage companies, particularly at seed or A round
- Will consider remote work arrangements

Desired Characteristics

The salary range for this position is $125,000 – $208,000. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. Available benefits include health, welfare, retirement and paid leave.
