JOB DESCRIPTION

• Seeking an experienced Electrician with a strong background in solar and battery (Tesla) installation. Responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems, specializing in solar photovoltaic (PV) systems and batteries. Minimum 4 years of solar installation experience and 4 years of electrician experience required.

Responsibilities:

• Perform solar and battery installations in residential, commercial, and industrial settings according to industry standards and electrical codes.
• Review and optimize PV system design, including panel layout and wiring, for efficient energy production.
• Install and connect solar panels, inverters, and monitoring equipment with proper wiring, grounding, and safety compliance.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with solar PV systems, including wiring, inverters, and performance.
• Collaborate with clients, contractors, and team members for successful project execution and timely completion.
• Maintain accurate records of installations, maintenance activities, and inspection reports.
• Lead a construction crew consisting of 2-4 individuals.

Requirements:

• Solar and battery FIELD Experience a must
• General construction knowledge to include roofing, electrical, and carpentry skills.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience as a solar panel installer.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience as an electrician or electrician apprentice.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, circuits, and electrical components.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical blueprints, diagrams, and technical specifications.
• Familiarity with solar and battery system design principles and best practices.
• Ability to safely and efficiently install, troubleshoot, and repair solar PV systems.
• Must know how to integrate solar and battery systems with home electrical systems.
• A working understanding of electrical codes and regulations.
• Must be experienced to handle all required hand and power tools associated with the electrical trade;
• Punctual with excellent work ethics
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge and experience in Tesla Powerwall installation.
• Valid electrician license or certification is preferred.

A big plus if you have:

• Electrical Trainee Certification
• NABCEP Certification
• A C-10 license
• Leadership skills
• Trained in OSHA Certs. and CPR
• Military Vets Highly Encouraged to Apply.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35.00 – $40.00 per hour
