What part will you play?

  • GAF Energy is seeking a Project Coordinator to own and drive solar installation projects from sales handoff to end-user Permission to Operate (PTO) their solar system.
  • This exciting role will report to the Project Coordinator Supervisor, and work within a cross-functional team to coordinate with both team members and contractors to identify and define project requirements, scope, and objectives in order to ensure the project continues to move to completion.
  • The Project Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating project schedules, resources, equipment, and information throughout the lifecycle of a project and ensure that all projects are completed on time, delivered effectively, and meet high-quality standards.

What will you do?

  • Work closely with management to prepare comprehensive action plans, including resources, timeframes, and budgets for all projects.
  • Coordinate project management activities, resources, equipment, and information
  • Break down big-picture projects and develop effective roadmaps with clear and concise timelines for completion.
  • Communicate, predominantly over the phone, with both contractors and the sales team to identify and define requirements, scope, and objectives.
  • Liaise between the sales and operations teams to support sales projects and deliver on completed projects.
  • Approve all new projects submitted by the sales team based on project requirements.
  • Assign tasks to internal teams and assist with schedule management.
  • Stay in constant communication with clients to ensure all needs are met as projects evolve.
  • Oversee the project order fulfillment process.
  • Monitor project progress and handle any issues that arise.
  • Act as the point of contact and communicate project status to all stakeholders, both internal and external.
  • Work directly with Territory Managers to eliminate blockers.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans, and reports.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What do we require from you?

  • Experience working in the solar industry required.
  • Project-coordination and/or customer-facing related experience.
  • Excellent communication skills. Strong and consistent communicator and good listener.
  • Excellent coordination and planning skills.
  • Proven experience working with cross-functional teams, especially high-performing sales organizations.
  • High energy/high sense of urgency/fast-paced/can think on your feet.
  • Entrepreneurial, self-starter, and self-motivated.
  • Comfortable working as a team player in a start-up environment where no job is too small.
  • Strong ability to communicate clearly and effectively with internal and external functional teams verbally, in writing, and via presentations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 – $65,000.00 per year

  • 8 hour shift
