Invio Automation’s Solutions division specializes in single station robotic cells, multi-station fabrication & assembly lines, bonding & welding technologies, vision systems, and packaging process. Application capabilities within our Solutions division include thermal bonding, web handling, force plotting, heat staking, high viscosity pumps, precision dispensing, impulse bag sealing, and needle bending. Invio Automation’s Technologies division includes highly differentiated Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs) for heavyweight applications, turnkey assembly lines, welding automation, and custom lift-assist & secure tools for safety critical applications.

Description

The Senior Financial Analyst will assist in building the financial analysis and planning functions for the company and create insightful and actionable analysis to drive sound business decisions as we scale the company. This will include several keys areas including project reporting and forecasting, P&L & cash forecasting, and KPI/metrics development and tracking. Our goal is to exceed expectations and ensure our internal and external customers receive an exceptional experience at Invio Automation.

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the project financial review process, understand status, create future forecast, collaborate with project managers and engineers in the successful execution of projects
  • Ensure accurate and timely forecast of milestone invoicing by working with other staff members
  • Assist in receivable collection efforts to ensure timely collection
  • Prepares annual budgets, periodic forecasts, variance analysis, and performance tracking
  • Conduct ongoing financial modeling, and provide management clear visibility into the Company’s financial health and outlook using both excel and commercial KPI / reporting software platforms such as Power-BI or Tableau
  • Create appropriate metrics/KPI’s, reporting tools, and dashboards that give insight into the performance of the business and inform direction
  • Provide insights and recommendations to optimize profitability, cost efficiency, and cash flow.
  • Analyze trends, identify risks, and assess opportunities for growth.
  • Participate in the evaluation of investment opportunities, including acquisitions, product and service expansion proposals, and capital projects
  • Work closely with business leaders to incorporate financial and strategic analysis into business decisions
  • Prepare polished presentations for internal and external stakeholders

Other Skills and Abilities:

  • Experience in a project based, manufacturing environment using percentage of completion revenue recognition
  • Strong analytical skills, excellent oral and written communication skills, and ability to work well with others.
  • Excellent collaborator, with a take charge attitude, comfortable challenging the status quo and influencing others
  • Results-oriented, with a very strong drive and work ethic and commitment to excellence
  • Must be organized and detail oriented with a high level of accuracy
  • Tech savvy familiar with ERP and reporting platforms such as Power-BI, Tableau
  • Advanced Microsoft excel and data mining skills
  • Ability to prioritize and work with limited supervision.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and to remain flexible to changing schedules and demands

EDUCATION

Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or related field with a minimum of four to seven years in a project based, manufacturing environment demonstrating career progression
