 Senior Project Manager - Energy Storage
 
Our client, a leader in the design, manufacturing, and integration of utility-scale battery energy storage systems, has an immediate need for a Senior Project Manager to join their team . They are a forward-thinking company that has successfully implemented over 3.3 GWh of DC battery energy storage solutions across multiple international locations
 
The Senior Project Manager, Energy Storage will be responsible for managing the execution of BESS projects from Limited Notice to Proceed activities through to Final Completion. This will include managing and coordinating all related activities with various stakeholders including internal departments, the client / owner, equipment vendors, EPC’s and general contractors and various subcontractors to provide a ‘turn-key’ BESS project. A significant amount of project management and EPC construction experience is required as well as demonstrated influence, negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
 
Requirements:
<ul>
<li>Degree or diploma in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical).</li>
<li>At least 5 years of experience managing construction projects, with a preference for utility-scale renewable projects.</li>
<li>Strong skills in negotiation, facilitation, risk management, and consensus building.</li>
<li>Required knowledge of general and national codes, medium voltage power systems, and photovoltaic or energy storage system applications.</li>
<li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to professionally interact and positively influence executives, managers, and subject matter experts.</li>
<li>Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a strong sense of ownership.</li>
<li>Expertise in developing business requirements, work plans, project schedules, and related project documentation.</li>
<li>Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS 365 and Microsoft Project).</li>
<li>Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required.</li>
<li>Ability to travel up to 50% domestically as needed for projects.</li>
<li>Capable of working independently and as part of a team.</li>
<li>Professional appearance and conduct demonstrated.</li>
