Job Overview As a Solar Installer, you will be responsible for assisting in the installation of solar panels and related equipment to support renewable energy projects.
Responsibilities - Assist in the installation of solar panels on rooftops or other structures - Perform fixture installations and connect wiring to ensure proper functioning - Read and interpret blueprints and schematics for solar panel installations - Utilize hand tools and power tools for assembly and installation tasks - Work with low voltage and high voltage electrical systems - Handle materials and equipment safely, including operating a forklift if required
Skills - Experience in fixture installation and working with hand tools - Knowledge of electrical systems, both low voltage and high voltage - Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics - Familiarity with commercial electrician practices is a plus - Comfort working on rooftops for solar panel installations
