Essential Responsibilities

  • Follow Haliade Commissioning Strategy to ensure an optimal on time works execution during the marshalling harbor activities.
  • Support Package managers & follow-up Project execution with site teams for all technical related topics to prepare & execute operations commissioning strategy in a timely manner in the marshalling harbor.
  • Lead technical and operative improvements with Design teams
  • Support to Documentation team for Haliade commissioning procedures considering the most up to date Electrical Machinery Standards and local regulations
  • Support the back office purchasing team on tooling and spares
  • Ensure a proper link and communication between Commissioning Engineering and Design Engineering Departments
  • Propose process improvements to optimize security and / or reduce costs; special attention should be paid to EHS compliance
  • Commissioning Technical support point of contact during marshalling harbor working on a Mon-Fri schedule, giving first support and managing investigation with Site commissioners & Design Engineering teams. Manage defects and NCs. Plan support from supplier or design teams accordingly. Be accountable for technical topics during works executions.
  • Implement feedback loop improvement from offshore teams and other marshalling harbors to deliver top quality nacelles and towers to offshore teams.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Technical diploma in electro-mechanics, industrial engineering
  • Minimum 6 years experience

Desired Characteristics

  • Computer Science: Knowledge and Industrial Management PLM Software, 3D tools, industrial protocols. ToolBOX ST and TwinCAT as a plus
  • English language
  • Experience in wind turbines and experience in leading multidisciplinary teams (design, suppliers, quality and project)
  • Experience with design or commissioning of control system, auxiliary system or drive train/power components.
  • Computer Science: Knowledge of Microsoft Applications and Industrial and Management Software
  • Spanish and Portuguese languages
  • Experience with tools, suppliers and use of quality tools
