Salary: $150,000 – $170,000 DOE + Bonus + Benefits

The company offers finance-grade commercial and technical services for wind, solar, hybrid, and battery storage energy projects, serving a global clientele including landowners, project developers, investors, financial institutions, project owners, and operators.

Job Overview:

They are seeking an experienced and proactive Deputy Director for their solar and storage team. The role demands a highly-skilled, detail-oriented, and self-motivated individual with expertise in solar generation and project technical leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct independent engineering due diligence.
• Inspect solar project sites to evaluate conditions and milestone completions.
• Review and comment on solar and storage design and engineering in accordance with US codes and standards.
• Perform solar modeling and design using software like PVsyst, SAM, PVcase, CAD, GIS, and HOMER.
• Review EPC contracts for technical data and milestone achievements.
• Interpret codes, standards, and regulations to provide technical advisory services.
• Manage projects and create workflows across multiple disciplines.
• Support and back up Directors in project leadership, client communications, and other areas.
• Conduct site visits for project assessments and attend industry conferences.
• Analyze solar operational performance and suggest improvements.
• Support commercial RFPs, financial models, and development processes.
• Oversee reporting on solar monitoring stations’ performance.
• Develop new reporting techniques and tools.
• Prepare and manage proposals and project execution within budget and on time.
• Maintain and build client relationships.
• Train and oversee less experienced team members and direct reports.
• Review and ensure high-quality deliverables aligning with company standards.
