We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Representative to join our dynamic team focused on promoting and selling solar energy solutions for residential customers. The ideal candidate will have a passion for renewable energy, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in sales.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers within the residential sector.
- Identify and qualify potential leads through various channels such as door-to-door canvassing, cold calling, and online marketing.
- Conduct presentations and provide detailed information about the benefits of solar energy systems, including cost savings, environmental impact, and government incentives.
- Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets by actively seeking new business opportunities and closing deals.
- Attend industry events, conferences, and networking sessions to represent the company and expand the customer base.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of the solar industry, including technological advancements, government policies, and market trends.
- Provide regular updates and feedback to the management team regarding market conditions, customer needs, and potential areas for improvement.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in sales, preferably in the renewable energy or home improvement sectors.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and persuade customers effectively.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills, along with the ability to work under pressure and meet sales targets.
- Self-motivated and results-driven, with a passion for renewable energy and a commitment to promoting its benefits.
- Familiarity with solar energy systems, their installation, and maintenance is a plus.
- Willingness to travel within the region and attend industry events as required.
- Flexibility to travel as required for business development purposes.
- A valid driver’s license and the ability to pass a background check.
