As a Sales Trader You Will Be Responsible For

  • Build your own client portfolio through direct prospecting and networking to originate new business and increase market share
  • Understand and identify arbitrage opportunities in the renewable energy commodity market to originate deal flow for your trade book
  • Create strategic trade solutions to ensure obligated parties reach their compliance goals
  • Develop an understanding of the landscape within the market including product knowledge, industry challenges, legislative and geopolitical changes
  • Maintain relationships in the renewable energy sector
  • Represent the firm at conferences and engage with stakeholders within the industry

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of sales, trading, brokerage or account management role
  • Highly self-motivated person who thrives in a dynamic work environment and demonstrates a flexible and adaptable work style that responds quickly
  • Previous sales, cold calling, outreach, prospecting experience
  • Undergraduate Degree in Economics, Business, Finance, Environmental Studies or a related field

Salary Range: $90,000-$115,000 + discretionary bonus

Actual base pay may vary based on various factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, level and experience. The base pay is just one component of the total competitive compensation package for employees.
