Traveling Electrical Apprentice/Solar Installer
Texas Solar is a rapidly growing solar company in San Antonio, TX. We are looking for a strong, hard-working and motivated individuals to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn. You should be able to work well in a team environment as well as independently. The position requires a willingness to learn and grow within the company.
Our Traveling Electrical Apprentice/Solar Installer will:
- Work with other team members in the installation process from start to finish.
- Read and interpret blueprints and drawings.
- Assist residential Electricians and Installers by performing various tasks and material handling.
- Properly mount and install assigned work conduit, wires, and strapping as directed.
- Assist in wire pulls and other duties as directed by supervisor.
- Layout, assemble and install solar array(s) and mounting hardware.
- Prepare and clean up the job site.
- Provide exceptional customer service to every customer throughout the installation process.
Requirements:
- Comfortable working at heights including on rooftops, climbing ladders and stairs, and performing repetitive duties such as lifting, bending and standing for long periods of time.
- Ability to lift 50-100 pounds of weight frequently throughout assigned workday.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Must be a motivated team player, looking to succeed and work well with others in a collaborative team environment.
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record.
- Comply with all company and customer safety policies and procedures.
- Texas Electrical Apprentice License
- Must be willing to travel.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $800.00 per week
