Job Details

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Project Manager to join our growing team in the construction industry. This is a permanent position, offering the opportunity to work on a variety of exciting and challenging construction projects, with a specific focus on wind energy and power stations. The successful candidate will have a strong background in construction projects, particularly in utility scale and high voltage. Experience in EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction), interconnection, and project management is a must.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing the execution of complex construction projects from inception to completion. This includes but is not limited to

• Overseeing all aspects of project planning and execution, including budgeting, scheduling, and risk management.
• Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
• Ensuring project compliance with all industry standards and regulations.
• Coordinating and managing project teams and subcontractors, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
• Utilizing MS Project or similar project management software to track project progress and report on key metrics.
• Managing the interconnection process for utility scale wind energy projects.
• Overseeing the construction of high voltage power stations, ensuring safety and quality standards are met.
• Leading the EPC process, including engineering design, procurement of materials and services, and construction management.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in project management within the construction industry, specifically with utility scale and high voltage projects.
• Proven experience in managing wind energy and power station construction projects.
• PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or equivalent.
• Proficiency in MS Project or similar project management software.
• Strong knowledge of EPC processes and interconnection procedures.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate and mitigate project risks.
• A commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and integrity.
