Job Description

Title:

Lead Electrical Engineer

You will be responsible leading a group of engineers while providing technical direction, responsible for employee performance appraisals and for coaching and developing lower-level professionals. Also, you will plan, budget, organize, and control an important segment of a very extensive and highly diversified engineering program or an entire engineering program of moderate scope. You will be responsible for a measurable asset such as an assigned staff and budget.

Requirements/Qualifications

  • Skills are typically acquired through an undergraduate degree in Engineering and a minimum of 10 years of related experience, with average experience of 15+ years of professional working experience

  • Emphasis on electrical power design with 15K / 4160 / 600 volt power distribution systems, lighting, schematic wiring diagrams, cable / raceway sizing, lightning protection and grounding

  • Certification as a Licensed Professional Engineer is required

  • Assignments may require conducting plant walk downs and wearing chemical plant or refinery PPE to include an H2S monitor, escape respirator, Nomex coveralls and have the ability to obtain a TWIC card.
