Title:
Lead Electrical Engineer
You will be responsible leading a group of engineers while providing technical direction, responsible for employee performance appraisals and for coaching and developing lower-level professionals. Also, you will plan, budget, organize, and control an important segment of a very extensive and highly diversified engineering program or an entire engineering program of moderate scope. You will be responsible for a measurable asset such as an assigned staff and budget.
Requirements/Qualifications
Skills are typically acquired through an undergraduate degree in Engineering and a minimum of 10 years of related experience, with average experience of 15+ years of professional working experience
Emphasis on electrical power design with 15K / 4160 / 600 volt power distribution systems, lighting, schematic wiring diagrams, cable / raceway sizing, lightning protection and grounding
Certification as a Licensed Professional Engineer is required
Assignments may require conducting plant walk downs and wearing chemical plant or refinery PPE to include an H2S monitor, escape respirator, Nomex coveralls and have the ability to obtain a TWIC card.
