Position Summary: The Marketing and Communications Coordinator will support the communication efforts and day-to-day operations of the department. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for details and be self-motivated to execute communications initiatives and support corporate events. The coordinator will play an integral role in the department by creating content for both internal and external communications, utilizing graphic design, copywriting, email campaigns, video, social media, and the corporate website. The coordinator will assist with communications projects from start to finish and will coordinate with agencies, vendors, and other departments as needed.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • The Marketing andCommunications Coordinator is an enthusiastic team member of the Marketing andCommunications team, providing support and assisting in the implementation of teammate communications, marketing communications, announcements, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Assist teammates with visually compelling presentation design, ensuring adherence to brand guidelines and proper formatting.
  • Write and edit web copy, articles, social media posts, email campaigns, and other internal and external content.
  • Design templates for internal and external communication channels, including email, SharePoint news, and signage, using a variety of software programs.
  • Support the planning and execution of corporate events and employee engagement activities.
  • Support the design, implementation, and maintenance of SharePoint intranet.
  • Provide administrative support to the Marketing andCommunications team as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills/Abilities:

Required:

  • Experience in content creation, editing content, and graphic design.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to effectively handle multiple projects at once.
  • Excellent project management skills: ability to manage multiple deadlines and plan asset timelines.

Preferred:

  • Experience with SharePoint
  • Experience in Digital Marketing

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelors degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Public Relations, English, or other related field(s).
  • Minimum of 1-2 years hands-on experience in a marketing, journalism, or communications support role.

Travel Requirements:

  • 10-15% Domestic based project demands

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Light lifting
