Narrow Way Energy, LLC is a solar construction company and is searching for a Skilled Heavy Equipment Operator for solar projects.
The operator’s duties will include:
- Preparing, inspecting, and operating heavy equipment such as excavators, dump trucks and/or marookas, maintainers, dozers, forklifts, skid steers, and other such equipment.
- They must be able to ensure the proper use of heavy equipment to ensure that the projects are completed accurately and safely.
- They will be required to work with a spotter and other team members.
- They need to be able to communicate clearly and efficiently with the crew on hand.
- Loading and offloading,
- Trenching and grading,
- Observing safety codes,
- Reporting injuries and any other accidents,
- Advising the manager on any upgrades, repairs, and replacements the equipment might need,
- Aiding coworkers to ensure that the site is clean and organized at the end of each shift.
Minimum requirements for this job:
- Valid Drivers License.
- Pass drug test.
- Bending and Lifting.
- A sound understanding of safety guidelines.
- Capacity to provide and follow directions.
- Decision-making skills, especially when under pressure.
- Ability to work extended hours as needed.
Job Compensation:
- Overtime is offered after 40 hours at time and a half.
