Summary:

Powin is seeking a NetSuite Manager to take on a central role in managing our ERP system. This position involves ensuring the smooth operation, maintenance, and security of the system, facilitating seamless communication and data flow between different departments. By optimizing the ERP system’s performance, the NetSuite Manager utilizes their NetSuite expertise in support of the organization’s operational efficiency and decision-making processes. We’re looking for someone who is tech-savvy and understands our business processes well, enabling them to tailor the system to meet our unique needs effectively.

Job Details:

  • Data Management: Oversee data integrity within the NetSuite system, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information across modules such as financials, sales, inventory, and procurement. Import and export data as needed, perform data analysis, and assist with data migration projects
  • System Maintenance and Upgrades: Monitor system performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement enhancements to optimize system functionality. Coordinate with the IT team to execute regular system maintenance activities, including system updates, patches, and bug fixes
  • NetSuite System Configuration: Customize and configure the NetSuite system according to our organization’s requirements, including user roles and permissions, workflows, forms, saved searches, reports, and dashboards
  • Integration and Customization: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify integration requirements with third-party systems and applications. Work closely with developers or consultants to design, develop, and implement customizations and integrations to extend NetSuite’s capabilities
  • User Support and Training: Provide ongoing support to users by troubleshooting system issues, resolving technical problems, and answering inquiries related to NetSuite functionality. Conduct training sessions to educate users on system features and best practices
  • Security and Access Management: Ensure the NetSuite system’s security by managing user access, roles, and permissions. Implement security best practices and maintain user roles and profiles based on organizational needs and data privacy requirements
  • Documentation and Reporting: Create and maintain system documentation, including process flows, user guides, and system configuration details. Generate reports and metrics to monitor system usage, performance, and key performance indicators (KPIs)

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with ERP systems, including system configuration, data migration, user support, and security management required, 7+ years preferred
  • NetSuite SuiteFoundations / Administrator / ERP Certification a plus
  • Progressive responsibility in managing, customizing, and troubleshooting complex ERP platforms, NetSuite strongly preferred
  • Proven experience as a NetSuite Administrator or similar role, with a strong understanding of NetSuite’s core modules and functionalities
  • Proficiency with globalization and localization features and their application to a single, global ERP solution
  • Proficiency in configuring and customizing NetSuite, including user roles, workflows, saved searches, reports, and dashboards
  • Familiarity with data import/export, data analysis, and data migration processes
  • Working knowledge of the NetSuite Accounting configuration and administration
  • Understanding of basic scripting (e.g., SuiteScript) and customization tools within NetSuite
  • Ability to translate technical terms for non-technical persons and effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels
  • Knowledge of business processes and workflows, particularly in finance, supply chain, and human resources, to customize and configure ERP systems effectively
  • Experience with project management methodologies, such as Agile or Waterfall, for ERP system implementations, upgrades, or enhancements
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues independently or as part of a team
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for conveying technical information to non-technical stakeholders and collaborating with cross-functional teams
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining data integrity and system security
  • Ability to look across modules to understand the technical and business impacts when providing solutions
  • Prior experience working with vendors, technical and business units to deliver a single, consolidated and scalable solution
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills and SQL database skills required; reporting/query tool experience a plus
  • Continuous learning mindset to stay updated on emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in ERP system administration
