Senior Applications Engineer

Onsite – San Diego – Full-Time

The Senior Applications Engineer role will work closely with the Sales team and Design Engineering team. This role will be the key bridge between the customers’ specifications and the company’s technology and designs

Responsibilities

• Ensure alignment between the engineering team and the customer specifications to develop solutions that meet mechanical, thermal, electrical, and manufacturability requirements for all product lines.
• Ensure alignment between products and customer specifications.
• Review customer inquiries and work with the Executive Sales team to prioritize new customer engagements with high potential fit to the company’s battery portfolio.
• Support the Executive Sales team with the creation and internal approval of new business quotes and customer proposals.
• Evaluate customer application ‘drive profile’ and propose the ideal Li-ion cell to meet application targets.
