The positionOur renewables business is set to grow considerably in the years to come. To enable profitable growth and support Equinor to succeed as a leading global renewables player, improvements are being implemented to the Renewables business including a new operating model and organisational setup.

By joining our team in Renewables you will have the opportunity to:

  • Manage procurement and supplier relations activities to ensure operational readiness for offshore wind projects, spanning from pre-operation to execution phases.
  • Have close dialogue with local suppliers and stakeholders, and build strategic relations
  • Provide in-depth knowledge of local Supply Chain capabilities and constraints
  • Assist establishing supply chain development plans and strategic approach towards US suppliers to support local content ambitions
  • Represent Equinor in industry supply chain networks
  • Run due diligence processes and perform pre-qualification of new suppliers
  • Perform business integrity assessments and follow-up on human rights risks in the supply chain
  • Contribute to the Renewables global procurement category teams.

  • 7+ years relevant experience including knowledge of procurement processes preferably in operational readiness in a large scale project environment and supporting critical business demand
  • A relevant Bachelor or Master’s degree required, preferably in a supply chain or procurement related discipline
  • Good overview of the Offshore Wind Supplier market and understanding of establishing and promoting Local Content
  • Demonstrable ability to forge strong stakeholder relationships whilst developing trust and respect
  • Experience in driving and contributing towards improvement and innovation.
  • Independent and flexible, with the ability to work within multidisciplinary teams across the organization and deliver high quality work within required deadlines
  • Strategic and Commercial mindset with strong negotiation and interpersonal skills
