As a Solar Site Inspector where you'll be at the forefront of ensuring quality and safety standards in utility-scale solar projects. This position offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge renewable energy projects while contributing to a sustainable future.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct frequent quality checks on electrical and mechanical systems at solar sites.
• Document and submit detailed inspection reports to supervisors.
• Maintain close communication with site managers and quality control team members.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety protocols.
• Coordinate third-party testing and calibration services.
• Support commissioning and post-commissioning activities.

Requirements:

• Associate’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering Technology preferred.
• 4 years of electrical experience in solar installation/troubleshooting OR 2+ years of solar PV tracker/mechanical quality control experience.
• Familiarity with NEC/NFPA codes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong communication and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work on-call, weekends, and travel to project sites.
• Valid driver’s license and OSHA 10/30-hour certification.
• VA certified journeyman electrician license desired.
